10 ENCOURAGING Reasons for TrialsSample

For reason number seven, Jesus Himself was the afflicted one.
In Hebrews 5:8, God says that through affliction Jesus learned obedience!
This is a beautiful example.
Although fully God, Jesus was also fully man.
His affliction taught Him obedience.
He surrendered to what God allowed.
We are not above Christ.
Let’s let God have His way with us, just like Christ did.
Let's remain pliable in the Potter’s hand.
The affliction God allows always has a purpose and bears fruit.
In this case, the fruit was learning obedience.
Again, it is best to surrender to the beautiful teacher of affliction.
We just don’t know the amazing work God is doing.
