DAY 4: ELECTRIC

“Like a spark

Lights up the dark

You light up my heart.”

Regardless of what you think about electricity, the moment you come into contact with an electric current - you can’t help but react! In the exact same way, God’s love is electric. The moment you come in contact with the reality of the love of God for the first time - you can’t help but to react to it. 

Have you ever acted differently towards someone because you “liked” them? Love influences the way that we look at the world around us. Suddenly, the air is sweeter, the birds sing louder, and everything seems just a little bit brighter. Sometimes we forget that God looks at us through a lens of love, and that He desires to be in relationship with us!

Unfortunately, because we forget how much God loves us, we feel like He forgot too - which is the absolute furthest thing from the truth! Just because we might forget how much God loves us, it doesn’t affect His love for us. 

This is your daily reminder that God loves you, and that He wants us to worship and draw nearer to Him with that in mind. Our prayer is that You will experience the reality of God’s love today!
