10 Ways to Beat Porn Sample

We previously mentioned in day 3, that Paul said, “Flee youthful lusts, pursue righteousness…with those who call on the Lord…” (2 Timothy 2:22).
Purity happens in the context of community. Overcoming pornography occurs when you reveal your sin to others. It's important to confess your sin and get an accountability partner.
So, bring that hidden, shameful sin out of secrecy and deception into the light because purity is achieved with other believers.
If we confess our sins to our family in Christ, the sin will lose its power. Confessing sins to one another does not lead to forgiveness, but it does lead to healing.
Sin grows in the dark, and it dies in the light.
Subsequently, the people you confess to can keep you accountable. An accountability partner can pray for you and check on how you are doing.
Today’s Prayer:
Father, give me the strength to expose my sin in the light. Highlight someone that will pray for me fervently, check in constantly, and be a blessing in my life as an accountability partner.
