Never Give Up (Middle School)Sample

The next time you go outside, find a small rock and hold it in your hand. The thing about rocks is that they have a pretty long lifespan! And while that’s a fun fact, it’s even better when we think about what the Bible says about God in a similar way. See, the Bible promises us that God is like a rock. God lasts forever—like actually forever! That means God is indestructible, sturdy, trustworthy, and dependable for all of time. God is the one thing we can count on to stay the same no matter what happens in life.
Ask your small group leader how they trust and count on God. Then ask them to pray that you would be able to depend on God in the same real, lasting way.
