Only the YoungSample

We all have things we are confident about…and not so confident about. Maybe we can crush Algebra class, but French? Not so much. When we have confidence, we see the world differently, especially when we are confident in something that matters. The writer of Hebrews talks about holding “unswervingly to the hope we profess”—which is just another way of saying to be confident in our hope. And what is our hope? That Jesus is with us. That God is good. That the Holy Spirit is at work in the world around us. Today, think about one area of your life where you could be more confident in the hope God has given us. Pray and ask God to help you “hold unswervingly” to that hope.
