The Whole PointSample

Life is full of rules. No running in hallways. No yelling in quiet buildings. No sweets before dinner. Sometimes following God can seem like that. It’s just a lot of rules, right? Well, in reality, God really only asks us to do three things: Love God, love yourself, love others. That’s the whole point! When we feel overwhelmed, wonder if we’re getting this faith thing right, or just want to know how God wants us to live, we can come back simply to this: love. When we start there—by loving God, loving ourselves, and loving others—we can be sure we’re not missing the point!
Today, write down all the ways you can love God, love yourself, and love others. And then, pick just one to actually do today!
