7 Prayers to Pray Over Your WorkSample

Ask God to help you make prayer a habit – well beyond just these seven days.
Father,
Make each of my days to be full of conversations with You. I can’t say I am doing Your work if I rarely talk to You. God, I know that depending on myself or my ability will fall so far short of what You are capable of doing. Do more than I know to ask for or imagine. Keep me on my face before You. In my busiest of seasons, protect me from prayerlessness. And despite how competent I may feel for a task, let the way I pray demonstrate my full dependence on You.
Let any worry lead me into prayer. And God, convict me that anything not worth praying about certainly isn’t worth a second of my anxiety. I know that time in Your presence will fill me with peace and joy. And God, not only do I need Your peace and joy, but so do others. Fill me with Your peace, joy, mercy and grace. Lord, unless You give it to me, I am not capable of giving it to others on my own.
Increase my confidence in You with every conversation. Increase the intimacy that I have with You. Increase my relationship with You. Help me to store up moments that exist just between us, Lord. I don’t need anything from You. You’ve already given me far more than I deserve. I just want to know You more.
I love You, and I trust You. Amen.
