Turning Off the Noise: Listen to God
On 20 June, 2016, there was the rare occurrence of a full moon and solstice coinciding. It resulted in a strawberry moon! That night my wife and I were at a beach in North Carolina and saw the spectacular moon.
As it rose in the sky, the reflection on the ocean was spellbinding. God was speaking. No, I didn’t hear any audible voices, but in the stillness God was speaking to me.
“The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims His handiwork. Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge” (Psalm 19:1). Get away from the noise! Look up at the sky and listen to God.

About this Plan
We live in a chaotic, hectic world, and sometimes it seems there is no escape from all the noise. This week, make time to listen to God, read His Word, and pray. Be intentional as you seek to listen to His voice and be renewed and refreshed.
