Repurposed Faith Quiet Time ChallengeSample

"GOD IS A LOVING FATHER"
Having been raised in a family with a godly father, it was easy for me to learn how to relate to God as a loving father. I have talked to a number of people that did not have a good earthly role model to show them and teach them about the love of God. My heart aches for these folks, and when I talk with them, I can see the pain in their eyes.
The good news is that God wants to adopt all of us as His sons and daughters…His love is dependable, full of kindness, and everlasting if we will believe and trust Him for our eternal salvation.
Today’s challenge:
• Pray that God would open up your heart to be able to relate to Him as a loving Father.
• Offer a prayer of forgiveness for anything your earthly father has done to hurt you, and ask God to heal your hurting heart.
• Jot down some things about love and how it relates to you and your relationship with God.
• Meditate on these questions:
o The trinity (Father, Son, and Spirit) is mentioned in the verses for today. What different things do they offer to do for you?
o What is the difference between comprehending and knowing the love of Christ?
