How to Friend

DAY 21 OF 21

As you spend time committing this verse to memory and learning how to friend, remember that you are called to action. The first word in this passage is “do,”—meaning it’s an action. Don’t simply memorize the words of this verse; instead, commit to living them out as you spend time with your friends and family. Say the verse out loud to yourself several times. If you are feeling bold, share it with someone you live with so you can practice it together. The point is, don’t do this alone! Choosing to memorize this verse can help you when tempted to act unkindly toward a friend and support you in becoming more like Jesus.
