Under the Microscope: Taking a Closer Look at God's Creation.Sample

This past summer, I went to an island with my family. I had such an amazing time because we were so closely connected to nature. We were almost always outside, except when we were sleeping. We went swimming in the lake, we went bike riding, we went on walks along the beach. It was so refreshing to be unplugged and so close to my family. My favorite part of the whole trip was when we went for a bike ride on one of the bike trails. We rode all the way to the end of the island where we were able to sit and enjoy the view. It made me think, though, about how easy it is to forget to appreciate God’s creation. God created such a beautiful earth with mountains, trees, oceans, and stars, and we just don’t appreciate it enough sometimes. The most comforting thing about it is that it all points back to God. The God that created the mountains and the oceans created YOU. ME. US. That is SO cool! God created every little detail. We can see God all throughout God’s creation!
So today, my challenge for you is that you go outside and take a walk, unplugged from technology. Look around, notice, and appreciate all that God created!
