Your Parents Weren't Perfect...But God Is!Sample

In My Troubles, You Are Present
Contemplate Psalm 34:17-19, and then let’s pray.
”When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears
and delivers them out of all their troubles.
The Lord is near to the brokenhearted
and saves the crushed in spirit.
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
but the Lord delivers him out of them all” (Psalm 34:17-19, ESV).
Father, You hear my cries. You know when I need You, and You know how to help. You deliver me out of all my troubles, even when I feel overwhelmed.
You don’t say I won’t have troubles. Rather, You say that in my troubles, You are present and You care and You do not turn away. You are near me when I am brokenhearted.
Right now, You are near.
You save me when I am crushed in spirit. And as I face many afflictions, You deliver me from them. You do not abandon me. I can count on You to help me.
Help me now, Father. I need You right now.
In Jesus’ all-powerful name, amen.
