5 Daily Devotions to Encourage TeachersSample

If you stay in education long enough, you’ll notice that teaching trends change. Best practices come and go. Technology advances change how books are read, tests are taken, and homework is submitted. It can all begin to feel very overwhelming.
This is why it’s important to remember that God does not change. He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. When you’re tempted to get consumed by the changes happening around you or feel like you can’t keep up, remind yourself that you will not be consumed because your God does not change.
He’s not in trouble; therefore, you aren’t in trouble, either. God sees you, knows you by name, and won’t let you go.
Dear God, I’m so thankful that You do not change. When I feel like the world around me is constantly changing, help me to remember that You remain the same. You’re my strong tower, and I can run to you and not be consumed. I love You so much. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

Whether you are a classroom teacher, homeschooling Mom, Sunday School teacher, or small group leader, I want to share what a good friend reminded me when I packed up my classroom. “We are all teachers. We define our classrooms.” No matter what your classroom looks like, I pray these daily devotions will encourage you and strengthen you as you fix your eyes on the ultimate Teacher.
