Mountain Moving FaithSample

Mountain moving faith better helps us see how God is working out our purpose in “all things for our good.”(Romans 8:28) The Passion Translation calls us “lovers who have been called to fulfill His designed purpose.”
This is important to trust God because not only will we not follow a leader we don’t trust, but we also won’t trust a leader we don’t love. If we love God, we will trust Him with our entire life. And as we grow in our trust, we can rest in the knowledge and the promise of Romans 8:28.The verse after this one is as important. “For God knew his people in advance, and he chose them to become like his Son, so that his Son would be the firstborn (or supreme) among many brothers and sisters.” (NLT) The ESV and NIV uses the word “predestined to be conformed” and the TPT tells us that we will be “just like him” meaning Jesus.
You see, there’s nothing to fear when we are following God with mountain moving faith. We know Jesus is supreme and that God, our Father, wants us to be like Jesus. However, this knowledge adds a wealth of spiritual direction which results in the display of God’s fullness and brings a greater wholeness to all those ‘lovers’ who trust Him by obedience. Talk about spiritual benefits!
Therefore, you can’t mess up God’s plans for you, but you can resist His best for you. Submit to God and agree He knows best. God cares as much about our living out our faith as much He does our decision of faith. He cares about what He gives His grace to. This also means you don’t have to figure out your purpose on your own. God is bearing fruit that only He can give, and His grace keeps us from messing up what He already has planned for us.
Trust boils down to the attitude of the heart with humility. His grace paves the way, holds us steady, close, and protects. I love knowing that grace is something we don’t have to earn, and a gift we can’t lose – even when we blow it. Grace is great wisdom…a gift. “If you want to know your purpose, pursue the heart of God and you’ll have a head-on collision with your calling.”—Renee Swope.
