Hebrews: Inspiration for the Journey P1Sample

How, in your own life, have you moved beyond elementary teaching?
How do you read the situation explained in verses 4-6? What do you think the author is warning us about?
John 15: 5-7 says: "I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you."
How do these verses shed more light on Hebrews 6: 1-8?

About this Plan

Hebrews is a beautifully written visual aid for us. We live in 'the time in between the times.' Jesus has come once and will come again. But until then, we wait. That waiting often needs inspiration. Hebrews offers that encouragement. Through verbal pictures of a heavenly tabernacle to stories of real lives found in scripture, Hebrews spurs us on. Let's allow these first 6 chapters to inspire us!
