There are seasons in your life where it probably seems like God has you at a standstill. In such times, it might feel like life is moving slowly or not at all. Whatever you’re passing through or waiting to change in your life, you might feel stuck. What should you do? Should you generate more activity, or should you look to Jesus and trust Him to make the path clear?
There can be no greater reward than what comes from waiting on God (Isaiah 40:31). However, most of us find it difficult to be still and know that God is God. Most of us want to rise to the occasion, solve problems in a single bound, and keep our lives moving forward. Although stirring things up may momentarily relieve our frustration, as God’s children, we are supposed to allow Him to work out every aspect of our lives—in His time. So, as you commune with Almighty God, take your time. Your patience will always be rewarded.
In what areas of my life am I impatient with how God is moving?
