The Gospels - MiraclesSample

Sir Isaac Newton was a mathematician and physicist who developed the theory of gravity in the 1600’s. That was a long time ago! One day he was thinking about the forces of nature when he saw an apple fall from a tree.
Gravity is the force that makes everything fall down towards the earth. Without gravity everything would be flying around all over the place. Gravity wasn’t invented by Isaac Newton, he just gave it a name.
In the Gospels, we read all about Jesus doing some impossible miracles. The forces of nature are no match for Jesus. Because of gravity, we would sink if we tried to walk on water, but for Jesus nothing is impossible.
