The Gospels – MessiahSample

In the army, everyone is given a rank and order, so they know who’s who and, most importantly, who is in charge. When an army general gives an order, everyone below him follows it. He has the authority to be in charge.
Jesus has authority over all. The Bible says that by the name of Jesus, every knee will bow, and every tongue will say He is Lord. Even the wind and the waves obey Jesus’ command; He has authority over everything in the universe. He is almighty and powerful.
Who is the king of your life? When we choose to follow Jesus, we put Him in charge, making Him the King of our life. We choose to turn from living life our own way, doing whatever we want, and instead choose to follow Jesus, letting Him take the lead.
