Finding Your Identity in ChristSample
Life is full of questions. Questions about the world and our place in it. Questions about the past, present and future. You, as a student, are entering a time in your life when you get to answer more and more of those questions on your own. In fact, you may be at a point in your life where you feel the pressure to have all those questions figured out. You may feel the pressure to just go with whatever everyone, your parents, other family, friends, or culture is telling you, even if that doesn’t feel like the real you. There is a bunch of pressure in both asking and answering big questions. Many of our choices determine the quality and direction of our lives.
Our hope is that as you are seeking the answers to life’s big questions, that you will seek to know how and where Jesus fits into those answers. We believe that Jesus has a best answer for your life. So, our challenge to you as you navigate this season of your life is to be curious. God isn’t afraid of your questions. In fact, in the four gospels, Jesus Himself asked 308 questions. Jesus wasn’t afraid of questions then and He isn’t now.
So be curious. Questions take us on a journey where you will learn and gain insight. Questions will help you understand why you feel the way you feel, like they things you like, and help you find your place in God’s story. Ask away.
