DAY 28: Lamb's Awakening Movement

“Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing.” — Revelation 5:12 (ESV)

It’s our desire to see the Church fully awakened to the Lamb's victory and to the Glory of God! Let’s ask the Father to release a massive Lamb’s-awakening movement on every campus across America, where the Spirit of God uses the Word of God to call out to this generation back to God’s Son as the Lamb of Glory!

It is time for a ‘Just Jesus’ generation to encounter Jesus as the Lamb! Twenty-eight times in the book of Revelation, Jesus is revealed as the Lamb! Let’s bury our hearts in His wounds until our lives are transformed from glory to glory, for indeed ‘every wound bleeds glory.’ (2 Cor. 3:18)

May we, along with our college students, all behold the Lamb of Glory, until all of our hearts are wounded by the Wounded One! As Spurgeon writes, “When we see the Lord pierced, the piercing of our hearts begins.” [1]

Even as the Lamb is in the center of the throne in Heaven, we declare and decree that it’s time for the Lamb to become the center of the throne on the earth in this generation! We know the Father always sees the wounds of His Son and he is asking this generation, “When will you give my Son the reward for his sacrifice?”

Could the Father be holding back the coming wave of glory until we are gripped with a passion for the Lamb, scarred by the sacrifice of His Son as the Lamb? He is truly deserving of all the worship, all the obedience, and all the affection of the human race!

PRAYER POINTS:

• “Father, we believe that the hour has come for Your Son, the Lord Jesus to be honored, and treasured as the Worthy Lamb who was slain! Awaken this generation to the absolute worth of Jesus!”
• “Father, would You raise up and send forth messengers of the Lamb on our campuses, prophetic voices like John the Baptist who will cry out, “Behold the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world.” Send forth ones like the apostle Paul who will resolve to know nothing but Jesus Christ and him crucified (1 Cor. 2:2). Raise up ones like John the apostle who will look until they see the slain Lamb standing in the center of the throne in heaven, and then reveal him here on the earth!”
• “Lord of the Harvest, would You thrust forth ones like the Moravians on campuses across America who will cry out, ‘May the Lamb who was slain receive His due reward for His suffering!’”
