Actively Doing Your Part in the Great Commission

DAY 22 OF 31

THE ROLE OF PRAYER IN THE GREAT COMMISSION (2)

YOU ARE NOT STRONG UNTIL YOU FIND IT EASY TO PRAY. The issue with prayer is not first about VOLUME or QUANTITY but CONSISTENCY in the PRESENCE OF THE FATHER. Many Christians almost always want to replace praying with singing. Singing is a function of your mind while praying is a function of your spirit. If your spirit is weaker than the assignment you are carrying, you will collapse one day. The devil is not interested in stopping you from attending church services, but he wants to stop you from praying. He does not fear your coming to church, he fears your kneeling to pray. A Christian that does not pray is cheap prey for the devil to handle.

The devil is willing and ready to give a Christian anything that will make him or her not pray. Don’t joke with your prayer life. It is the strongest area of your spiritual life that the devil will fight. He knows that you will soon walk away from your anointing when you stop praying. He will find you enough legitimate business and reasons to stop you from praying, but you must know that you cannot be effective in soul-winning without praying. Prayer is not an elective course in the calling; it is a COMPULSORY COURSE. Meeting with God daily is COMPULSORY. The work of ministry is not academic work but spiritual work.

PRAYER: I receive grace to wait upon the Lord this year for instructions and guidance of the Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name. Amen!
