5 Daily Words for BoysSample

Gratitude
After church on Sunday, Cameron started to really pay attention to all of the good things in his life. His Sunday school teacher had asked them each to make a list of twenty things they were thankful for. This seemed like a lot because at first all he could think of were the same old things he always said. Once he started to look beyond those things, he realized he couldn’t stop seeing ways in which God had given him good gifts.
If you pay attention, you will never run out of things to be thankful for. Sometimes it can be hard to think of things beyond the basics. It’s easy to thank God for your family, your home, and your food. Every good gift is from God. From the sun on your face, to the way your best friend makes you laugh, to the smell of cookies fresh out of the oven. You can thank him for the big things and all of the everyday small things that are a blessing in your life.
What are you thankful for today?
