30DaysOfBibleLettering - Round 4 Sample

The God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.
Romans 4:17 NIV
This is the Gospel — that Paul so precisely shows us spans throughout the entire Bible and throughout all of history. The redeeming work of God is not limited to the New Testament, or limited to just ourselves or those we deem worthy. God has been at work, long before Abraham’s time or any of his children, including ourselves today. Because it is not lineage, the law or works that save us, but the blood of Christ alone. It is by HIS lineage as the Son of God, HIS complete and perfect fulfillment of the law, and HIS work on the cross that we can be called children of God. He rose from the dead to raise our dead hearts to life and out of our sin. He is the same God who calls into being things that were not, and hope where there was none. Thanks be to God!
