God Sees Me!Sample

God sees the good that you do
“When you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your giving may be in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” (Matthew 6:3-4)
We humans like to receive applause and appreciation when we do something good for another person. Some people even consider this so important that it becomes their sole motivation for doing anything good! However, the Lord Jesus disapproves of such an attitude. Then we are being hypocritical, because we are really only thinking of ourselves under the guise of charity. The Lord God has no appreciation of such deeds.
Jesus shows us a better way: do good things for God and for your fellow humans without showing off. You can be sure that the Lord sees it and will reward you for it.
In Matthew 25, Jesus says that even the good deeds people have done unknowingly are seen and appreciated by Him. These can be small things like inviting a stranger over or feeding someone who is hungry. Perhaps your neighbors and friends don't notice at all. Perhaps you yourself soon forget about it because you automatically help someone in need. But God sees it and He will reward you. That's enough.
How and where could you have more of an eye and ear for people around you?
