Qualifying for God's AnointingSample
GOD ANOINTS FAITHFUL SERVICE
God anoints faithful service. The Bible says Moses was a faithful servant of the Lord. “Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful (1 Cor. 4:2).” Fruitfulness comes after you have been found faithful. Be faithful with whatever gift you have. If it is the gift of prophecy you have, be faithful to develop it and use it to be a blessing to people.
As you read this, are you one of those saints that saw visions and could pray for several hours when you were younger? What are you doing now? Faithfulness is what leads to promotion in the Kingdom. Be faithful with what God has given you. If you are faithful with your work in a church as an usher, God can anoint you to preach His Word to countless souls. If a young man blowing the trumpet in his local church in an obscure part of the world is faithful at it, God can give him a global stage to minister. Be faithful. He that is faithful in a little thing shall be trusted with much. He that is faithful in another man’s things shall be given his own things (Luk. 16:10-12).
Many of us lose our faithfulness because we don’t see immediate results. The issue with God is not “instant” but “constant”; constancy is the issue. Just be constant and faithful. If God told you to be a pastor of three people and you are faithfully leading them to their divine purpose, you are as successful as the man God told to pastor 300,000 people and is also faithfully doing so.
PRAYER: Father, I commit to faithfulness afresh in my place of assignment and service in Zion in Jesus’ name. Amen!
