Biblical Deliverance: The Jesus ModelSample

The Full Story
Before we get into how to walk through deliverance, I believe it’s important to read Mark 9:1-29. The context of this whole story will be beneficial for us over the next couple of days. Pray over the scripture. Ask the Holy Spirit to highlight key verses that He wants you to focus on during our time together. Finally, start a phone note or keep a notepad beside you over the next 7 days. There might be things you want to reference in the near future.
Let’s pray as we dive into this passage of scripture and invite the Holy Spirit to do what only He can do.
Prayer
Father, thank You for sending Your One and only Son, Jesus, for me. Jesus, I believe You came from Heaven, You lived a sinless life, You died for my sins and You rose for my salvation, justification, freedom and my reconciliation back to the Father. Now, Holy Spirit, we invite You into this time. Help me develop a heart to help walk others through freedom. Illuminate my understanding. Help me unlearn toxic deliverance practices and help me learn healthy biblical deliverance as I read this devotional. It’s in Jesus’ name, Amen.

About this Plan

After being set free, we are called to help set others free. The enemy is advancing and we need more men and women of God to get back in the fight. Deliverance is still a taboo subject in the Body of Christ, however, Damien is devoted to changing the narrative. Join him as he provides a biblical and healthy way to walk with individuals through deliverance by following Jesus’ model.
