Thief of EverythingSample

We can all remember a time when we couldn’t do something because we were too young. A lot of times it can feel like our young age can disqualify us—disqualify us from leading or having a voice. But if we are honest, other times we use our age to disqualify ourselves. We don’t do as much as we can because we write ourselves off as being too young to make a real positive impact. But what if we saw ourselves as being far more capable than we may think?
No matter your age, you can live in such a way that the people around you will be encouraged and see you as an example. No age can disqualify you from living in a way that honors God and motivates others. In fact, you can reach people older people never will. After all, you never know who you might be influencing with your life and example.
This week, ask God to show you ways you can make a positive difference in the lives of the people around you.

About this Plan

Students tend to compare themself to others. This is totally normal, yet wildly unhelpful. In this devotional experience, you will discover that comparison not only keeps you from liking others, it robs you of things like joy, peace, and grace! And the further you move away from comparison and toward contentment, the more you’ll be able to love who you are just as you are!
