Prophesying the Supernatural

DAY 3 OF 5

On the third day of our devotional on prophesying the supernatural, let us dive into the profound truth contained in this verse from Luke. These words were spoken by the angel Gabriel to Mary, when he announced to her that she would conceive Jesus, the Savior of the world.

The statement "with God nothing is impossible" encapsulates the essence of God's unlimited nature. It echoes through the pages of Scripture as a constant reminder that God is not subject to human limitations or natural laws. What seems impossible to human eyes is completely possible to the sovereign God who created all things.

This truth is an invitation to challenge our limited worldview and adopt a divine perspective. We are often faced with situations that seem unsolvable, insurmountable obstacles, or unattainable dreams. However, the statement "nothing is impossible with God" encourages us to look beyond these limitations and trust that God has the power to intervene in extraordinary ways.

When prophesying the supernatural, we need to allow this truth to sink into our hearts and minds. Faith begins where human knowledge ends. We need to overcome skepticism and doubt and embrace trust in the God who works beyond the boundaries of our understanding.

Our own limitations should not dictate the scope of God's actions in our lives. He operates in the supernatural, breaking barriers, curing illnesses, transforming lives, and restoring what was lost. His power is evidenced from the creation of the universe to the miracles recorded in Scripture and in the personal experience.

Today, as we reflect on this verse, allow yourself to dream of what God can do in your life and in the lives of those around you. Pray for renewed faith to see beyond impossibilities and to trust that God is at work behind the scenes, working supernaturally to fulfill his purposes. Believe that with God all things are possible, and let that truth inspire a renewed anticipation of His transforming power.
