Vision For Marriage

‘Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh. And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed". – Gen 2:24-25

God has been speaking about marriage since the book of Genesis, and so we can boldly say that marriage is God’s idea and not society’s opinion. He had plans to make marriage a succor for both the husband and wife such that they could be transparent with each other and not feel any shame.

God’s plans are always higher than ours. No matter the ideology prevailing in societies today, God’s vision for our homes is to have no shame with each other. If God said it, then it is possible to come clean to your spouse on every front. No grey areas, no covered areas because we know we are loved and there is no fear.

In case you haven’t arrived at the ‘no fear or no shame zone’ in your marriage, let me announce to you today that it is not too late. You can have that dimension working in your marriage from now on. However, it starts with you seeing the vision God has for your marriage.
