Walking in Holiness
Reflect:
We can't earn salvation by any good deed of our own; God's grace is the empowering force behind the gospel. Although saved, we still must walk in our Christ-won identity. We cannot commune with God while living in unholiness. That means the things we watch, read, say, and do actually matter in God's eyes. His grace is meant to motivate holiness—not act as an excuse for "good enough" living.
Knowing Christ should change us. We talk about everyone having different "convictions", but we should ALL be convicted to walk in holiness. We should all feel the conviction to walk uprightly, do righteous works, and speak truth. To do any less is to shame the gospel. To do any less is to take Christ for granted.
Pray:
Lord, motivate my heart to honor you with all I do and choose.
