What does the message of the cross do to you?

'May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world'. Galatians 6:14

When you've fully grasped the message of the cross, it brings about some amazing changes in your life.

1. A transformed and blessed life:

Your life undergoes a remarkable transformation and becomes blessed. People will seek you out to understand the secrets of your Christian living, and you will generously share its blessings with them. There will be no spiritual dryness in your life. Soon, that spiritual dryness will be far from you, and you'll find yourself in green and fresh pastures. Your relationship with God will grow from strength to strength, and your faith in Him will reach new heights. You'll begin to rejoice in the Lord even when situations become more challenging.

2. A new role:

You take on the role of a watchman, an eagle-eyed guardian, and a compassionate caretaker for those around you. You warn them about the dangers of sin and provide support to those who have strayed far from God.

3. An effective witness:

You evolve into a mighty witness for Christ, empowered by the transformative influence of the cross. Your words and actions naturally reflect Jesus, drawing people closer to Christ. Through your testimony, you bring hope and inspiration to others, all because of what God has done within you.

4. An Ambassador:

You become an ambassador for Christ, promoting peace among those in turmoil and confusion, much like the peacemaking qualities of Christ Himself.

5. You upset the enemy:

Your knowledge of the power of the Cross will confound your adversary, the devil, who may attempt various tactics but will ultimately be thwarted by your unwavering faith and the presence of Jesus in your life.

Matthew 16:24 Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me. 25 For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
