This Is Real LoveSample

Sometimes our mistakes and failures come with consequences that aren’t fun. We get grounded, kicked off the team, or punished by our parents as a consequence for what we’ve done wrong. Even if we understand why they do it, it can still leave us feeling defeated or upset. It’s important to remember that what we celebrate at Easter—the death and resurrection of Jesus—shows us just how far God is willing to go to show us real love. While the consequence for our mistakes should be separation from God, God went out of the way to make a way to be close to us again. That is real love, and that is something worth remembering.
Write this verse down today. Every time you feel as though you need a reminder, look to this verse to show you that God’s real love never fails.
