Are You Living on Mute?Sample
Day 5
For the first thirteen years of my life, I never thought about what made me special. I always thought of myself as different and instead of that being a positive thing, I thought of it in a negative way. During the last three years of my life, as I have walked through hard times and joyful times, I have found what makes me special.
One of the things that makes me special is that I always try to do the right thing; I never waver from God. Even when I don't know what to do, I choose God over and over again. I also stick to what I feel called to do. In any situation in life, I listen to where I feel called to be.
I also now see that I am special because I am different. There will only ever be one of me! I want people to see me as different and know that I am not like everyone else. Over the last three years, I found my voice, and I am able to stand up for what is right. I bring the light and not the dark. I am the head and not the tail. I am made for a purpose. That’s what makes me special!
Final Exercise
As the final exercise of this devo, I want you to write about what makes you special. What gifts have God given you that the world needs to see? The next time you aren't sure you can make it through, just look at this page and remember God made you and you are special!

About this Plan
I'm Kihryn Thogmartin, a 17-year-old girl from a town called Zanesville, Ohio. I used to struggle with speaking up, but God has been helping me find my voice the past couple of years. So, let's journey together, saying yes to the blessings God has for us. I'm still learning every day, just like you. Can't wait for you to dive in!
