“Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” (Phil. 4:8-9)
Prompt
Yesterday we talked about the words we hear from others (or ourselves) and how those compare to the words Jesus says about us. If you followed the Prod, you should’ve written out ten words that Jesus says about you and meditated on them.
So now that you have those words that Jesus speaks about you, in gratitude, you can turn that inside out.
Often, Jesus speaks to us so we can then speak the same thing to others, which is how the world can eventually know His truth. Jesus’ words aren’t always just for us—they’re for others as well. We get to speak into others’ lives!
