An Unchanging God

In times of change, one thing remains the same, and that is the Lord and His love for you. You can hold onto that no matter where you are in the world, no matter what the circumstances are, or the choices you should or should not have made. Friends may leave, you may move house five times, but the Lord remains the same and His love for you endures forever. Hold onto Him, draw closer to Him in these times. He is waiting for you with arms open wide. 

His words remain true no matter where you are, and what is happening. The Lord is our water in the desert, and His promises can revive us. No matter what is happening around you, hold onto the promises of God, they will give you direction, comfort and peace. You can trust Him to fulfill all He has told you. Moreover, the Lord has a plan for this region, and you are a part of that plan. Rest in those promises and trust Him for their fulfillment. 

And on those days where the world gets too much, where maybe you missed the turn off and had to spend twenty minutes finding your way back, look up and keep your eyes fixed on Him. Ask Him for strength for the day, feel His loving kindness, and enjoy the comfort of Him who remains the same.
