On MissionSample

Have you even been given a mission by your teacher at school? Perhaps it was to take a note to the office or bring in something from home. Or maybe it was going to the school canteen to pick up everyone’s special lunch order, feeling like a hero when you come back into the classroom with a basket full of food, everyone cheering for you. Now that sounds fun!
Jesus gives us a mission - to tell others about Him. It’s a mission we can feel good about. So how do we live our lives ‘On Mission’? Firstly, remember you’re not on this mission alone, the Holy Spirit is always with you and will help you. Make sure you’re spending time growing in your relationship with God. Pray, read the Bible and keep learning. Next, you could write down your own story of how you chose to follow Jesus and the difference it’s made in your life. Then, ask the Holy Spirit to guide you and empower you. Remember it’s not your job to save anyone, God does that. It’s our job to point people to Jesus.

About this Plan

Before Jesus went to heaven He gave His disciples a mission to tell others about Him. We have that same mission today, to share the good news about Jesus. This 15-Day plan explores the Great Commission, our mission to tell others about Jesus, how the Holy Spirit empowers us for this mission, and how we can live our lives ‘On Mission’ for Jesus!
