The Waiting Season.Sample

Day 3: Thanksgiving
“Praise facilitates the fulfillment of prophecies.”
When asking God for something or waiting on Him it is important to remind ourselves of who He is:
- The God who will do what He says He will do
Most times, we are so focused on what we want that we forget to thank Him for the past things He has done and even the present continuous things that He keeps doing.
You are alive, you have a roof over your head, you have food, and you have water. When was the last time you thanked Him for all of these?
Do you feel like your blessing is being delayed because you have failed to recognize the ones in front of you?
The Bible reminds us in Romans 5:3-5 to keep giving thanks no matter the circumstance ”And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; and patience, experience; and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.“
Prayer:
I thank You, Lord, for providing us with everything we have asked for and even beyond that. I ask Lord that You fill us up with gratitude so that we may give You thanks despite the circumstances we find ourselves in, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Scripture for the day:
Romans 5:3-5.
