Perfect Redemption: Easter Devotional for KidsSample

Messiah
When Jesus Christ walked the earth with His disciples, teachers of the law and religious leaders always questioned who He was and where He came from. They did not believe that Jesus is the Son of God because they thought that the Messiah would come in a grand way with kingly robes. However, Jesus looked ordinary to them and lived among the poor. Now Jesus showed them that David referred to Him as Lord, showing that Jesus is the Son of God.
Have you ever wondered what it means to have Jesus as your Lord? You see when someone is Lord, it means that person has complete ownership of a thing, place, people or territory. In this case, calling Jesus Lord will mean that He has the final word and owns everything about you including your life.
So dear one, can you truly call Jesus Lord? If not, would you allow to Him be Lord to you today?
Memory verse
The Lord said to my Lord: Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet - Matt 22:44
