What Color Is God’s Love?Sample

Day 3: Grateful Praises!
“Orange makes me feel grateful for the things God creates!”
Hallelujah! It's one word, which means “God be praised,” that God’s people use when rejoicing over something God did. Being grateful is one of the greatest faith-builders. Gratitude makes faith contagious, too. And in the Bible, David was one of the most grateful worshippers. He wrote at least 75 of the 150 psalms in the Bible!
In 1 Chronicles 16, David even taught the Levites (Israelite priests) how to be grateful. David said to remember what God did, tell everyone, then “Give to the LORD the glory He deserves!” (verse 29).
Activity:
Create a P.O.P. (Pocket of Praises) Book. Find a small spiral notepad that fits in your pocket or create your own with a few sheets of paper stapled together.
Write at least one thing you are grateful for on each page of your P.O.P. Book, and praise God for that blessing. Share how God works in and through your life with a friend or family member!
Pray:
Generous God, thanks for giving me Jesus and everything else in my life. Please help me be grateful and generous as I share with others and tell them about all the good things You’ve done. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
