In the ShadowsSample

It's not always easy to know how to talk to God. But when we aren't sure how to pray, the Bible gives us words we can say. Today we're going to practice praying God's words.
Think about how this psalm is a model for what it looks like to use reflecting on difficult times in the past as a prompt to thank God for the opportunity to move forward. With that in mind, try turning this passage into a prayer. Write it down, and pray those words as you write.

About this Plan

As we grow and experience more life, we might find the shadows of doubt or questions creeping towards us. Rather than running from the shadows, we can look to God to cast some light on the situation. In this 4-week devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll take a look at stories that draw us closer to God's light whenever we feel lost in the shadows.
