On Your OwnSample
At the end of every week, we'll give you a challenge—something to try that might be outside your regular routine. Each challenge is designed to help you develop one important spiritual habit. This week, it's...
USE YOUR GIFTS
God has given all of us unique gifts. Whether it's your skills, talents, character traits, experiences, lessons learned, or even some of the stuff you own, you have a lot you can share with others. Today's challenge is going to help you think about the gifts God has uniquely given you, and how you can use those gifts to love God and others. Because when we use our gifts for God, we grow!
CHALLENGE
This week, we talked about how God can help us choose our friends wisely. Not only can you surround yourself with people who help you make better choices and grow closer to God, but you can be that person for someone else, too.
What's something you enjoy doing or know a lot about? It could be a sport, school subject, or hobby. Or you might enjoy just being together with others as you work toward a common purpose. This week, look for someone to pass on some of your expertise or wisdom to. You could do this on your own or find an organization where you can volunteer your time.
