Not only does God know you by name, but God also calls you something amazing: child. Not only are we called children of God, but we belong to God, which means we can receive God’s goodness and light. This is made possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus! His sacrifice on the cross made it possible for us to stand in the light of God. What’s even cooler is that God doesn’t just offer this gift to us; God wants us to show the people around us that they can receive this gift of light, too! This means our families, friends, next-door neighbors, and people we pass by at the grocery store!
