What is one of the few things that will never change? Change itself! Change is a part of life, and you know that because middle school is full of it. Change can be scary because it means things won't stay the same. It can also be exciting because the future may hold new, better things. Regardless of how you feel about change, Scripture reminds us that each change has a season—an end date. If life feels hard right now, you can be encouraged that it will change. That season won’t last forever! If life is feeling pretty good, soak it up and allow yourself to be filled with gratitude for the season you’re in. Finding peace in any season will help you navigate it well until the season changes.
Today, try to name the season you’re in right now. Maybe it’s the first or last year of middle school, the season for your sports team, a relationship, or something else. Then, ask God to help you find peace in that specific season and appreciate it when change comes.
