Fully Restored

I know that you love to lift up the downhearted. Help me reach out to those in need - to be like you by encouraging and strengthening them. Show me your heart toward others so I am not so self-absorbed and unaware of those around me.

Use me to open the eyes of the blind and to cover the shame of the downtrodden. You have the love and compassion I desire, and I pray for it to be poured out in me for those suffering.

God, you give me love and joy to share with others. You have lifted my head so many times when I have been covered with shame. Your enduring love gives me hope and aids in my ability to live each day. You consider those who need, who are humble and broken, and you love them well. You have the power to heal and the knowledge that gives understanding. Thank you for sharing your Spirit with me so I can do what Jesus did for others.
