FRIENDS AGAIN
Just before Jesus died, one of his best friends, Peter, said he didn’t even know Jesus. Read about it in John, chapter 18, verses 15 to 18. Peter was not a brave friend that day! Will Jesus want to know Peter after that?

How does Jesus treat Peter? Is Jesus angry? Kind? Forgiving? Grumpy?
Peter knew he was forgiven and his friendship with Jesus was put right. This was probably the most important conversation that Peter ever had!
How is your friendship with Jesus? Perhaps you have been friends for a long time, or you may be starting a friendship or starting to think about a friendship. Peter’s story shows us that Jesus will forgive us. He wants to be friends!
Pray: “Thank you, Jesus, that you don’t give up on me. You forgive me when I make mistakes and I am your friend again.”
