Pray Your Way Around The WorldSample

The Hard to Reach in South America
To say that Paul’s ministry wasn’t easy is an incredible understatement (2 Cor. 11:24–28). He was constantly facing hardship—being beaten, surviving shipwrecks, and enduring imprisonment. But Paul learned to focus on his mission despite the difficulties along the way.
In South America, taking the message of Christ to people who have never heard of him isn’t always easy, but it’s a worthy mission. All across the Amazon jungle and Amazon River basin are people who have not heard the good news. Recently God raised up two young men to travel the river and share the gospel. They live in humble housing, eat what they hunt or can purchase along the way, and boldly proclaim Jesus. They have been attacked by river pirates and forced out of villages by witch doctors. Yet they remain faithful to stay and continue to share their faith.
Pray for these men and others like them who go into deep spiritual darkness to bring the light.
South America is made of up twelve independent countries and three dependant territories.
