Our Hope as Citizens of Heaven
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Revelation 21:4 (ESV)
Our citizenship in heaven comes with a glorious hope. We look forward to a future where there will be no more pain, sorrow, or death. This hope is certain because it is anchored in Christ’s promises. As we navigate the challenges of this life, we can hold on to this hope, knowing that our future is secure and glorious.
How does the hope of heaven impact the way you face difficulties and challenges today?
Prayer: Father God, Thank You for the hope of heaven, where there will be no more pain or sorrow. Help me to keep this hope alive in my heart, especially during difficult times. May it give me strength and courage to persevere, knowing that my future is secure in You. In Jesus name, Amen.

About this Plan

As believers in Christ, our citizenship is not just of this world; it is rooted in heaven. Philippians 3:20 reminds us that “our citizenship is in heaven,” a profound truth that shapes every aspect of our lives. Over four days, we will explore what it means to live as citizens of heaven.
