The One Another CodeSample

Humble with One Another
Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. 1 Peter 5:5 (ESV).
Humility is essential for healthy relationships within the church. When we are humble, we recognize that we are all equal before God, and we value others above ourselves. Humility allows us to serve one another without seeking recognition and to submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. Let us strive to clothe ourselves in humility, reflecting the heart of Jesus.
How can you demonstrate humility in your interactions with others this week?
Prayer: Father God, Thank you for the example of humility that Jesus set for us. Help me to walk in humility, recognizing that all I have comes from you. Teach me to value others above myself and to serve without seeking praise or recognition. May my life reflect the humility of Christ. In Jesus' name, Amen.
