Learning to Say NoSample

Overcome the Fear of Disappointing Others
The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. Proverbs 29:25 (ESV).
Fear of disappointing others can lead to overcommitment. Trusting in the Lord frees us from these fears and helps us focus on what truly matters.
Are there areas in your life where you’re saying yes out of fear of disappointing others? How can you shift your focus to pleasing God instead of man?
Prayer: Father God, please help me overcome my fear of others and focus on pleasing You. Give me the strength to say no when needed, trusting that my worth is found in You alone. In Jesus name, Amen.
