Day 2: Partnering with God in Your Work

Your work is never something you do alone. God desires to partner with you in every area of your life, including your career.

Joy Hammons reminds us that "if we want, we can step in that direction and partner with God". This partnership happens when we invite Him into our daily lives, entrusting Him with our challenges, decisions, and even our successes.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Just as we share our joys and difficulties with friends, we should talk to God about our workdays, asking for His guidance, help, support, courage, and whatever we need to keep walking in the right direction, aligning our professional lives with God’s perfect will for us.

He wants to be involved in your professional life, even in the small details. Never think you’re asking God for something too simple or trivial—everything can be shared with Him!
